Extreme motor sports fans are proudly invited at Buzau, to enjoy an exceptionally competition, which will test, in maximum r.p.m. all their orienteering and navigation skills, driving technique, endurance, strength, team spirit and fun.

Romanian Extreme Adventure challenge cars, motorcycles, ATV-s and Side by Side Terrain Vehicles, for a 7 days contest. The route is situated in Carpatii de Curbura, Penteleu Mountains a highly spectacular region, as terrain variety, temperature high differences, and wonderful natural landscape elements.

The best routes for arriving in Buzau are:

• From  Western Europe is  Budapest Szeged Arad Sibiu  Brasov Buzau.

• From Southern Europe is  via Bulgaria – Ruse Giurgiu Bucharest Buzau.

Registered teams must cover the complete route, which totally measures 1680 km, configured 100% with natural obstacles.

START is scheduled on June the 29th , in Piata Daciei from Buzau downtown. The competition  will finish on July the 5th.  with an awarding prize ceremony, set up also in Buzau , in a special location.

The contest has a Trophy structure, composed of 5 endurance,navigation and orienteering days and a trial day (driving skills on a compulsory and timed lap).

The competition has 2 sections:

• EXTREME –  highly difficult – for cars, motorcycles and ATV-s classes - advanced

• OPEN – medium difficult – cars, motorcycles, ATV-s, Side-by-Side Vehicles enthusiasts and beginners

Competitors of Auto Extreme Section will participate on individual base. Competitors of ALL other sections and classes will participate in teams of 2 vehicles.

NAVIGATION is made (for cars and Side-by-Side vehicles – extreme/open) after road-book indications, without preceding route recognition.

The motorcycles and ATV-s classes – extreme and open navigate after GPS traces (Garmin or compatible devices).

BIVOUAC is set on NW direction at around 90 km from Buzau city.  Bivouac ensures catering, hot water showers, lunch area, information center, internet wireless connection  and press center  

FUEL is supplied by the organizing team and can be bought from the Technical Park, near Bivouac. Motorcycles, ATV-s and Side-by-Side Vehicles can refuel on the route, in the intermediary refueling points.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT
Technical crews can operate only in Technical Park, and only after the contest day is finished. For additional details consult Competition Special Rules in the download section.

MEDICAL SUPPORT
Organizing team ensures medical support daily, from the beginning to the end of the competition. Medical support is supplied by qualified staff with specially equipped vehicles.

The competition fee will include the followings:

• Route, Technical Park and Bivouac management
• 3 nights hotel accomodation
• catering during all the competition
• diplomas and prizes
• promotional materials
• awarding prize ceremony
• festive dinner and party
• event’s 40 min  movie on DVD support

The whole event is filmed and will be broadcasted on the main national television stations, in the sport news and automotive broadcasts. After the competition end, every registered team and driver will receive a 40 min documentary on DVD.
